Hi, my name is Maddie Ligenza! I’m a Brooklyn-based designer and creative. I graduated cum laude from Syracuse University with a BFA in Communications Design. While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I also had the pleasure of establishing a working research project in the field of semiotics and graphic design.

As an experiential designer, my creative process relies on the thoughts, feelings, and words I gather. I believe ideas strike us in a moment's notice and usually in the most unexpected of ways: This could be a conversation with a stranger, a discovered notation in an early twentieth-century text, or a rescued typeface from the river Thames. All these collected ideas live in the footnotes of our greatest designs and help us to write visceral stories.

I am eager to collaborate with research enthusiasts, diverse activists, and poetic thinkers to create strong communication across print, digital, and experiential design.
