Maddie Ligenza is a Designer, Illustrator, & Content Creator based in New York.
Currently serving as Digital Media Associate at Petzel Gallery, Maddie excels at developing comprehensive digital strategies. Her role encompasses the design of a wide range of marketing collateral, from digital assets such as email campaigns and social media content to website design and gallery signage for Petzel’s viewing rooms. In addition to visual design, she develops copy for Petzel’s social media channels, crafting messaging that aligns with the gallery’s voice and programming. With expertise in project and task management, she has played a pivotal role in implementing and refining brand guidelines across all marketing materials while helping grow Petzel’s social media presence.
Prior to joining Petzel, Maddie worked at Gay Gaming Professionals, where she developed a comprehensive brand identity and logo for a collegiate gaming competition, and at Swann Auction Galleries, where she revitalized the design of the auction house’s biannual catalog. She also created advertisements, pitch decks, and digital marketing assets across a variety of platforms.
Proficient in industry-leading tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Mailchimp, WordPress, and major social media platforms, Maddie combines technical expertise with a strong foundation in visual arts. Her skills in copywriting, illustration, printmaking, and analog photography contribute to a well-rounded creative practice that she brings to every project.
